On January 29th at the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza there was the Sunday A'Fair. The Sunday A'Fair is an event meant to promote small businesses and budding artists- who are encouraged to set up booths, and play live music. Independent vendors like Jessica Allen, who runs the business Aster Earth, said that the fair is a good way to get their products "out there". She sold essential oils, soaps, and shaving products.
Some calm could be found at the outer edges of the festival. Many people walked about, and strolled along with carriages and walked their dogs. Children could be found climbing on the iconic Love sculpture. The original "LOVE" was a pop art image by American artist Robert Indiana.
